As the leading driving school in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong School of Motoring has been devoted to the tenet of serving society and getting better to provide our students with the most professional and effective driving courses. Diversified courses to meet different needs

The driving courses, as society is moving forward fast, have to change towards diversity in order to keep pace with the times. We have courses at different levels available to satisfy all kinds of needs from our customers. The courses at preliminary level are applicable to people who first learn to drive private cars (automatic and manual), motorcycles and light goods vehicles. The commercial vehicle courses focus on training people to drive medium goods vehicle, buses, articulated truck vehicle, etc., which get people prepared to work as occupational drivers. Advanced driving courses for fleet drivers of large corporations provide the occupational training to improve specific and emergency reaction driving skills and assist them in obtaining higher levels of qualification.

The courses above are all well designed by driving training experts, which are based on the experience of developed countries coupled with adaptation to the traffic situation in Hong Kong. The teaching scope covers, enhancing the students' driving skills collectively, fostering the students' safe driving awareness so that the students can cope with all sorts of road conditions and stay calm when emergency occurs. In respect of teaching modes, we emphasize both theory and practice. In particular, we adopt the all-round teaching approaches to master the techniques with ease. The approaches include multi-media lectures, computer-simulated driving practice, driving practice in our road safe centers and on-road practice, etc. More importantly, all courses are specially conducted by experienced instructors and thus creating better results.

Make contribution to promote road safety

The School, having been supporting the government policy of "off-road driving training", make use of the facilities in our road safety centers to enable students to master driving skills through systematic training. Currently, the School provides students with almost one million hours of driving training annually, thus successfully reducing the traffic jams of Hong Kong. In addition to the remarkable achievement, we actively imbue our students with safety awareness and do our utmost to promote road safety in Hong Kong.

Fleet Training Department offers tailor-made courses

The Fleet Training Department offers tailor-made courses to organizations from different industries and walks. Based on the occupational needs of various fleets, our advanced courses provide fleet drivers with practical professional training, including strategic driving skills, defensive driving techniques, emergency reaction, handling accident must-know, etc. After completing the course, the fleet drivers will be qualified for more challenging driving tasks, tremendously improving their service caliber.

Our Fleet Training Department was established in 1988. Since then it has been training many professional fleets for renowned public and private enterprises as well as charity organizations, including CLP Power Hong Kong Limited, Shell Hong Kong, Hong Kong Tramway, New World First Bus Services Limited, Mass Transit Railway Corporation, Otis Elevator Company (H.K.) Limited, and so on. A number of government institutions and public service departments have also trusted us with training their personnel with a view to improving their driving skills so that they can cope with the new challenges at work.

The Fleet training courses have been widely acclaimed all because we have experienced instructors who give students the most effective training in the most direct ways. The students, after getting through the courses, will be more cautious and more skillful in driving. As a result, these courses are helpful to avoid accidents and reduce operation costs of the fleet, also beneficial to the organization, which owns the fleet.
